Bloodhounds 5 - 5 Patriots

Normally this would be a great result, but once again we went into the half way point leading 4-1!!

Well done to Nelio for his 2 out of 2 again (the second to guarantee a point). And a 'special' mention to our two boys Peter and Don, who, when I told them they needed table time to find their form, took close to an hour for each of their frames!! WE SALUTE YOU!!

So the game finished after midnight, leaving just enough time for a showdown between me and Jacko in the secretaries. Matched him shot for shot, until he pulled out a sick pot down the cushion, somehow avoiding my ball that was hanging over the middle and finishing perfect on the black! It was a worthy finish!!

Question: If their ref calls a 'foul, two visits' immediately followed by 'foul snooker', before the player has even had a look, let alone ask for it - is this a foul, or just a warning??

Prop 5 5 Cue Masters

The draw specialists strike again! Pleased to get the result though because we were without two regulars.

In reality its coaching, nonetheless its initial penalty is a warning as I understand it. The second time is a standard foul I beleive. Though that normally apllies to players coaching rather than refs.

In most comps the senior ref issues a first and final warning over the microphone before the event actually starts.

Hotshots 7 - 3 Pond Q's

A half decent result at last as we have not been at our best in recent weeks. I suppose this is a fair result, although we were 4 - 1 up at half time. A good night for all though and we had great laughs with the boys from Pond Q's as always.

Hot Shots 7 Pond Q's 3 A very enjoyable evening at Lewisham's most luxurious hostelry. Great performance from Alan Danneau who managed to win both of his games, one of which was against the current singles champion who was probably weakened by his mammoth effort in Monday's final to beat my boyhood idol !! Generally speaking,we didn't get much luck at all which just about sums up our whole season. We will not give up until the bitter end but we have now generally accepted that we probably wont win the title ! At least it wasn't a bloody draw !! Good Luck to the Hot Shots for the remainder of the season !!

good performance last night for us to get a draw against the prop! another draw tho is frustrating! 8th one this season i belive and like the 7 previous ones we went into the last frame leading! only to see victory denied! credit to the prop tho was probably a fair result considering they were missing players to. but there strength in depth is shocking as even without certain players they can still field a strong team.

Eden 4 slates 6
very very poor performance from us
2-0 up
should have been 4-1 but was 3-2 down
same in the 2nd set - ridiculous
we left 3 blacks in the pocket for them to finish, gutting as we should have run out comfortable winners but once again we fcuk it up ag suppossed lesser opposition hitting with a chair

Nice table at slates snooker club though

HOW LONG LEFT ?
