The Eagles 7 - 3 The Jolly
At 3-2 up, we were thinking it could be a good night, 45 mins later and lost 7-3, great effort in 2nd set by the Eagles.
If our team could be as consistent in the 2nd set of 5 as the 1st, we will be fine . . . will have to see over the coming weeks
No question, both ends of the table will be decided in the last 2 weeks of the season

we were 5-1 down when i arrived so 6-4 is a decent result in the end.
we are saving ourselves for the hot shots on monday.... |

Bloodhounds 3 7 Cue Masters
Managed to hang on for the win from 5-3 up for a change. Not many open games, not the sort of games that we normally prefer so it was good to come out on top against an understrength Bloodhounds team. |

Shouldn't have won the first two but did, shouldn't have lost the next three but did, shouldn't have won the next five but did....
Conclusion..... One frame pool is silly.

important win for us last night against out bogey team although all the games were pretty scrappy with no one really playing that well on either team! still think the hounds will be ok but they really need to get there strongest team out for the remaining games if they are to achievethat! good luck lads.
we may need a bigger boat..! |

Pond Q's 4 Legion 6 Roll on the stopwatch. We finished at about 11.30. I think that the Legion must be on a share of the bar profits. It didn't suit us because we have such a young team who generally go to bed quite early,but the old soldiers just plod on and on. Good Luck to them for the remainder of the season.It was a very good response from them after their terrible result in the previous match. We must beat their conquerors next week ,and we will !! I will not be present as Arsenal will be destroying Hull in the FA Cup,but we seem to do better when I'm not around. Can't think why !! |
