It must be time to bring back the predictions:

Unpredictables 7 - 3 Farley Eden

The Eden clearly had a weakened team against us last week, and Alex says it will be even weaker this week. The Unpredictables have found their Summer form and this should be a comfortable home win.

Bloodhounds 5 - 5 Cuemasters

Despite losing to the cuemasters earlier in the season 7-3, prior to that we had a good record against them. Would be happy with a draw to maintain our recent good form.

Eagles 8 - 2 Jolly

If the Eagles put out their strongest team this will be comfortable. Although Bensalam, Sayers and Young can beat anyone on their day. Eagles at home should be ok.

Hotshots 4 - 6 Patriots

Well done to both of these teams for making this division a four horse race. Talent-wise, Hotshots are as good as anyone, but I just think the Patriots are on a roll and will grind out a result here.

Pond Qs 7 - 3 Legion

What has happened to the Legion? They seem to be in freefall. Although it's the same venue, I think the Pond table can be tricky to play on and this will suit the home team. Their draw against the Patriots last week should have the Pond brimming with confidence.

Slates 3 - 7 Prop

It's been a shaky couple of weeks for the Prop and the Slates had a super win last week. This should suggest a home win, but the Prop will love the Slates' table and 'should' win fairly comfortably.

Unpreds 4-6 Eden
Teach is spot on, it is Cheltenham week, and as a result of the horse racing we have our usual mass exodus of players whom travel down to the West country. At the moment we have only a bare 5 which at the best will increase to 6. But just for Pat, my best 5 will be on display tomorrow night!

Bloodhounds 5-5 Cuemasters
Cuemasters the draw specialists will probably take an away draw against the Hounds in their new home venue of the Hurricane Rooms which we find never an easy venue to visit and earn a result. Tricky away tie for the Cuemasters as the Hounds seem to have the Houdini vibe about them. Hounds last week came out of blocks flying and the Cuemasters will have to be ready for the same again.

Ego's 7-3 Jolly
In rampant form the Ego's, topping the table for the 1st time this season and and I can't see anything other than a home win for the current Div 1 champions. Jolly need wins to climb clear of danger and pick up a few results away from home but on current Eagle form its not going to happen this week for the Jolly.

Hot Shots 5-5 Patriots
Impossible to call this one. Part of me feels the Hot Shots will turn on a performance and smash them up. Both sides of course need a big win to keep the pressure on the Eagles & Prop, but I expect it to be a cagey match in Lewisham. Patriots are in the mix and despite maybe letting slip a chance to be top going into this week, they will grind out a draw and make the game a stalemate. Neither team needs the draw but in the grand scheme of things will take it before the match starts.

Pond 6-4 Legion
Despite their respective league positions this is the big game of the week in Division 1. It's relegation pool at it's best. It's bound to be a nervy, slow and the odds will be on a tactical battle. Legion are having a terrible run of form at the moment and last weeks result for them was painful. Pond on the other hand have strung together a few results and probably have been waiting for a big winning margin all season. I still see this being close due to the importance of a win to both sides. Draws are no good at this stage. Pond to edge out the victory and maybe bash that first nail into the Legion coffin.

Slates 4-6 Propeller
Big win last week for Slates last week, much needed as it was their first league victory since they beat my Eden side last November. Whereas, the Prop only 1 win in the league during 2009. An 11 point lead at the turn of the year has been wittled down over the last 5 matches to a one point decifit. I can still see this being a close match and the Slates are capable, at home, of winning back to back league games but the experience of the Prop will surely tell and earn them a much needed victory.

We have no Wiggy, no Jake and half of Kyle this evening, and obviously no Danny or the other last minute replacments Ollie and Ray.

So Hugh, Sean, Me, Potter, Tony, Tom and Kyle later.

Hopefully enough, but the Jolly bit our ass when we played a side of similar strength in the cup so nothing gauranteed thats for sure.
