i think group 1 is without doubt the hardest to call, the eagles are obviously the favourites but both cuemaster teams are capable of taking points off them and the legion at full strength are no mugs either so i reckon this could be a very tight group.
group 2 obviously favours the 2 division 1 teams with the prop certain to finish top and the hound dogs favourites as runners up especially after winning a tough 1st stage group. slates and the imps are decent teams but cant see either really getting out of this group.
group 3 again hotshots should qaulify but with there bogey team the eden boys in there and the suprise cup winners the form a the potential for suprises is there would expect hotshots and eden tho.
group 4 definately the easiest of any of the groups to be in especially the patriots who should win the group at a canter! rat pack should also get runners up spot with the warriors n dukes trailing behind.

we may need a bigger boat..! |

My predictions:
Group A: Cuemasters effectively having 3 home games makes them group favourites in my opinon. Only downside for the Cuemasters is its 2 games a week and they struggle fielding a decent team on Monday nights. Eagles will still believe the ''double'' is possible and I cannot see them not getting through but I think it will be a close call who wins it. We're see how good the Elmers 2nd string really are, the Elmer Cuemasters fancy themselves a bit and they got through a good Group to qualify. As for the Legion they just seem really out of sorts at the moment and the form book is not stacked in their favour.
Cuemasters & Eagles through.
Group B: The Patriots another ''double'' chasing side will be hot favourites and should win this 2nd stage group at a canter. Its a battle for who will join them. Rack Pack finishing second in their group was the best thing they could have done and on paper will be very slight favourites to take the 2nd spot. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Warriors get in the QF's as they have two home games in this group and the Alma is not an easy venue to travel to. Our stable companions did a great job making it to the last 16 and Ban Man will believe he can take the boys through.
Patriots & Warriors through.
Group C: Has to be the Group of Death. Defending Champions Hot Shots (also still ''double'' contenders) will possibly start as the group favourites with their 2 home games. Forum A off the back of their Knockout Cup triumph in February are certainly on paper the form side in the group. The Jolly make up the third div 1 side in the group and always are competitive. The Eden will prefer a trip to the Hot Shots rather than the Forum. It will go to the wire this group and a QF reward to those who can win the group.
Hot Shots & Eden through.
Group D: Three first division sides in this group, and the Bloodhounds winning a though opening stage have enough character to make the QF's. The Propeller (very much still ''double'' contenders) will start clear favourites for this group and have their two first division rivals at home and their other match also at Rileys. The Prop must have got their bad run out of the way now, with three home games I can see them walking this group. The Imperials if they really have 1st division aspirations must show they can compete with these sides but have two tough away games. London Snooker have lost more games 6-4 than any other side in the league this season and on present form the Hounds just edge them for me.
Propeller & Bloodhounds through
