Farley Untouchables 8 - Jolly sailor 2

Really needed a big win and then to hope other results will go in our favour. Would be nice to see Maple tree & London snooker results as its upto them now.
Week 6 was very harsh on us losing 8-2 to the Eagles who played some great pool as you would expect, And really dented our chances of finishing 2nd. Before playing week 6 against the eagles we had a 3 point lead on 3rd and 4th who were tied on 28 points compared to our 31 points.
Add 2 points from the eagles and this 8 points puts us on 41 points finish to the group. Not knowning London snooker or Maple tree final 2 games scores.. Its a mystery... However London snooker played Pawsons whom have been booted out and will incur the average score of 6-4, Putting them on 34 points, with 1 game left. Which would have been played by now but again a mystery... If anyone knows the last 2 weeks scores from Maple tree and London snooker in the cup please let us know.

About tonights result. Some great pool on offer from the untouchables tonight, But 1st set was up and down, as we won the 1st and lost the 2nd and 3rd frame but won 4th and 5th frame to make it 3-2 to us at the end of the first set. Knowing we needed minimum 8-2 to have any real chance of progressing we further upped our game with solid performances by Jan, Stacy, (jan and stacy are blokes !!! lol )Myself and our little Jem Luke Watkins (yes its barry watkins brother)... Luke was on last in the 2nd set and being 7-2 up really needed that final frame, And given that Luke is very young and still learning the game (much like barry watkins Pfft) He held his nerve and finished a 4 ball run in great fashion.. Fair play to the lad.

Overal 8-2 was a fair result and i belive JS will also agree. Despite hearing JS were a lil ignorant, they were nothing of the sort with us. Infact nice bunch who just wanted a laugh and a drink. Altho more the drink big grin, Wish them well in there league play and would love to see them again. Cheers fella's

Strange times at the Hurricane Rooms. Blokes with birds names. Cool.

Of course, it's not really that strange if you know that one of their other players used to be a Rebecca before he became an Andrew.

As for Luke Watkins. Another couple of seasons at Alan Mehmet's training camp and he'll be ready to join his brother up the road. Wink

I'll admit to being able to turn an average player into something special in given time... after all i did practise with Barry for a little while and now understand his performing well... I bet his using a lil bit of side now eh son... lol

As for him later on joining Eden.... i think he likes hangin around the birds and like to fish now and them Pfft
