As you have probably noticed, we have made a couple of slight changes to the way the menus view on the site . . As a result of this, Private Message (PM's) notifications now display in a Pop-Up window.

If you have a Pop-Up Blocker on your PC, please adjust your settings so that Pop-Ups are allowed on CroydonPool.com

Is it possible for users to disable that popup (if they don't have a pop up blocker?)

I doubt the users have the option (although I must admit I haven't checked) . . It's more likely to be in the coding . .

If they don't have a pop up blocker there isn't a problem as the pop up will pop up laughing

The problem is that I'm on a work PC and I don't want windows popping up randomly. Guess I'll just have to be careful.

is it possible to set up a email notification for pm's?
some people might only go on the site once a week, but check their personal email everyday. would be good to get an email to let you know you have a pm.

It is possible . . There are global and user level options . . The global settings are currently set so that no email is sent but individual user settings will override that . . http://www.croydo...er=options
