Does anyone want to second me for bringing in the 60 second rule?
Always have a plan 'B'
Even plan 'B' has failed |

Do people take longer than a minute to play their shots? |

i'm not a fan of the rule and think it's only needed for 5% of players.
in a busy pub/club it's a pain in the r's keep having to ask for timeouts.
i for one won't be sticking to it!!! |

Look at our match Tues v Legion. Nearly 3.5 hours. Every frame drawn out and plenty of shots took longer than 60 seconds. Especially when Taylor v Field played! No flair pool on show but still a tense match & the 60 seond rule would of killed it.
I'm not a fan either, and personally i don't want to be having to think or sweating over the time limit when i'm looking at the shot options. I can see the pro's of it though when match times are dragging.
Timing rule is an official WR. So if we are embracing WR shouldn't we be using timing anyway? Think most other leagues in Surrey use it.

as i say it's only needed for a few people...
if anything then bring it in if 'x' amount of frames haven't been completed by 'xx.xx'pm! |

As opposed to finishing at 9.35pm, & shaking hands for an 8-2 loss.
