flying machine 4 - 6 warriors

well played warriors, made up for their defeat to us in the league earlier this season. from 6-1 down we did well to scrape back a few frames but really didn't have much of a chance at the start, they all played very well and took all their chances.

Folly 1 v Eden 9

Great result for us tonight given our 3 way battle in group 4.

Makes our match against the flying machine more like a play off match

New Table:

FARLEY EDEN 38
THE WARRIORS 37
FLYING MACHINE 34
FORUM 'B' 29
S.A.S 27
THE FOLLY 25

With 2 byes in our group its hard to work out who will finish where exactly. The next week Folly & SAS have their bye. then the final week us and the warriors.

Good quality pool by the boys last night at what is a difficult venue to have to go to, especially knowing you need a result. Usual noise, and people walking around the table on your shots, plus a fight between a couple of the regulars to contend with didn't stop what was a great effort. We've been waiting for that kind of performance all this season (well since we dismantled the Cuemasters!).

Dogger, Warriors look dead certs to make it through. Barring of course they don't have a total mare against the Forum 'B', which I can't see. It was always going to come down to our match.

Yeah i thought as much before last night. Warriors should top the group. We needed a result last night, at least a 6-4 win, to put us in a better position going into our game with you. but as always, we can't do anything right, and have to at make it hard for ourselves.laughing
