Bloodhounds 6 - 5 Farley Eden

A fantastic result for us tonight. Actually went 4-2 up, then were hauled back to 5-5, then Mr Porter won the play-off!!

Darren, I won't say this often but...... WE SALUTE YOU!! bowbow

Well done to the bloodhounds.

We didnt do ourselves justice tonite. We went in off on the black twice to give 2 games away.

Good luck in the semi final.

Gutted.

You're right Potterman - 0 - 2 is not good from the captain. I don't know what happened - went for the dish twice and came unstuck!

I think I was still getting over our singles league game from last week - what was it? oh yes 9-3 to me!! smug

You are such a plum Paul. Was this post fuelled by too much Carling Darling?

I guess we will just have to pat ourselves on the back at going one round further than the Ego's this season and without loosing in normal time. I guess we will also have to live with winning the winter Knockout Cup just ONCE in the last decade - something I have noticed the Eagles have just about equalled themselves. Fitting also that solitary win in the last 10 years came from their days at the Farley.

Anyway, well played the Bloodhounds. 5-5 was the least either side could expect from what was a good match, evenly contested. The play off pitted together, quite rightly, the only players from night who had claimed their 2 wins. Both players had chances to take the play off, Darren from his break had a big chance to dish and then Truey played some sick shots to get himself in a position to win it. Overall, neither side did enough on the night to prevent a play off frame. We missed an opportunity to get ourselves in the Semi's at our home venue at the Theatre of Dreams & thats a downer.

Good luck to the Hounds in the Semi's. I'm sure Shaggy will be just chuffed to bits if you win it.

Waddon Wizards 6 - Goodfellas 5

A disappointing result for us considering we were 5-3 up but when it came to the crunch we just couldn't cross the line. We had chances to kill the game off but it wasn't to be and they came back well and deserved the win. We made mistakes and paid the price.

A great lengthy battle, as always against the Wizards, a great bunch of lads and best of luck to them in the next round.

Sounds like it was a night of play-off's.

I heard the Prop v Pond was a 6-5 in favour of the Prop.

It's only the Plate but we got the drubbing at the Eden out of our system a bit last night by beating the Warbank 6-1 in double-quick time.

laughing Do me a favour!! rolling eyes

You make it sound like you kicked our arse.

3 of us were unlucky to either finish on the black or on our last ball before the black and another of our guys called a foul on himself that no one see with the game comfortable for him.

We could of also quite easily walked out in double quick time 6-1 to us.

Can see why though you have only won one game in the 1st divison!

Ohh, by the way enjoy the first division next season. I would have changed my logo if i supported Charlton.

Sorry, wasn't meant to come across the way it did. It was a good open game which was why it was all over before 9.15. Having said that if you take on clearances that aren't there and snooker yourself on the black you can't really complain if the other player mops up. We may only have won one but we have drawn with The Eagles and the Prop. You'd better hope you don't go up if you're losing 6-1 to teams that can only win one game.

You're obviously not a true fan then.

was a good match v the warbank last night with some good open pool played by both teams! as shanks said the warbank went for some brave finishes at the start of the frames and if you dont make them your always going to be in trouble but it was good to watch and when they missed we took our chances well! will be suprised if the warbank dont get promoted where as i will be suprised if charlton stay up??laughinglaughing
