You told me that all your mates would back you for a share of you winnings and then loose and run away.
I think it will be a great final but not as Billy describes. Just goes to show his inexperience of the game.
He's too predictable, too readable and a real yellow belly.
We at The Better Halfs have tried to be as nice as possible to Billy and rigged up the local icecream van to be stationed outside The Farley just so that he can keep himself occupied and quiet.
Us Better Halfs Guys won't be touching a table on the day prior to the match. We're all going to a long relaxing and unwinding Ballet class. You know, just to clear ones head of all thoughts and to get muscels completely relaxed.
You could join us if you wish Billy but I'm not too sure how you'd look in a leotard !

A close final but The Mighty Better Halfs to win by 2 clear frames I think.

I've just heard that BanterBunter's house was broken into last night.
The thiefs didn't bother with the house but headed straight for Billy's room and started ramsaking it.
Billy with a shock of horror upon his face timidly asks, " What are you searching for "
A deep stern voice from behind a black mask replies " MONEY "
Billy smiles and starts searching with them !

Yes Billy let's just do that. We want The Mighty Better Halfs name on that again and to keep all the silver ware in Sydenham.
What concerns me most is to hear that you've become soooo protective over Rod !
He may be yours but he's also Better Half lol

Not been on here for a long time & just wondering who are the better halfs ? Apart from Rod & Farron who is in this team ?
To be saying Tony Jackson is a bottler etc is laughable - am pretty sure he is one of the best players the lge has had.........
As for challenging someone to a money match (Well if you can call ?50 a money match) in Scotland & for peanuts is a joke

Better halfs 6 - 5 propeller
First of all hats off to the prop for playing their part in an awesome final.
It has to be one of the best finals I've seen and been a part of. Prop raced into a 4-1 lead courtesy of jacko hughie cooky Bunter. Danny Keliher winning the third frame but from 4-1 down the halfs pulled it back to 4-3 thanks to Keliher and Joel.
Jacko then beat rod again in frame 8. I won the 9th to make it 5-4. Steve Krishnan took it to a decider following one of the best blacks you'll see. Unbelieveable cut following a simpler black he missed by 7 foot lool.
Decider went Danny kelihers way against jacko.
The cup is ours.
Just want to say commiserations to the prop it was an awesomely contested final. We held our nerve when other teams may have rolled over. There was banter and all in all a lot of respect shown. Jacko again showed the mans quality on the table.
It was a suitable finish to a wonderful saga/game well played to all and congratulations to the better halfs

Played in a great final tonight,am gutted to lose after bein 4-1 up but them better half boys don't know when to give up. Well played guys and well played Danny,u bought the beans home for ur team. Good night,good banter just a shame about the result. All the best fellas,congratulations. |

Cud not agree with Ricky and farran more great final the best I have played in great atmosphere really enjoyable! The prop are class and a great bunch I really enjoy the rivalry between the two teams! I think it's important to have this keeps it interesting! Must say Steve Krish that was the best black I have seen unreal bro under that pressure class!!! Being 4-1 down in a race to 6 to half inch it 6-5 I am proud of my team! We dug in and didn't let the score line bother us! Must say jacko was impressive tonight bunter impressed me also got a lot of stick and dealt with it like a pro! The boy is growing up and he will get much better for that!! The table was a dream to play on want to say well done to the Farley for getting the table like that pleasure to play on!
Want to wish the prop the best of luck for the remainder of there season class act!!
