That said it still doesn't change the situation . . LOL ... I've had words with Jacko today and informed him that the League cannot get involved in a domestic dispute but nevertheless I have told him to contact Hanah at Rileys to see if any comprimise can be found should it be the case that he qualifies for the semi's. This seems to have been ongoing for a long time and if its not resolved then I will not be accepting entries from Jacko for Singles & Doubles KO's in the future. I will retract the statement that I made about not accepting Tony Jackson's entries for the Singles & Doubles KO in future seasons as I was out of order for making it in the first place due to the fact that the Singles & Doubles are not sponsored at this moment in time and that Semi's & Final would generally be played at the League Sponsors venue and to this I hereby apologise to Tony Jackson. I have spoken with Hannah at Rileys over this situation and if TJ does qualify for the SF and Final then these will be played at Thomas Farley as his ban still stands. I understand from both parties that tenders are to be submitted for sponsorpship of the Singles KO and if these are received before the 21st February then this will be a topic of conversation at the forthcoming General Meeting. |
