Jolly 4 - 6 Hot Shots

Enjoyable game and some high quality finishes from both teams, 1st chance taken in most frames

4 lots of 7-balls i think, could have been 5-5 but for a missed black,

quality told though, well played, see you in the League Cup!!

well played the eagles last night were solid throught out! we had a chance in the 1st frame but then apart from that we only really had chances in the 3 frames we won as the eagles pretty much took control in all the others and never really gave us a look in! enjoyable match tho and look forward to our league cup meeting,

Farley Eden 4 - 6 Bloodhounds

Another excellent victory as we try to pull off the great escape for the second season in a row. I know the Eden had a slightly weakened team, but then we were without two first team regulars as well.

Nice to see Ramsay get 2 out of 2 (cheers for the lift home), and Nelio was as consistent as ever (even if he tries to make his finishes as difficult as he possibly can).

I was absolute pants this week - sorry boys!

In reply to Dotcom's thread - The Power was actually their best player on the night and comfortably won two out of two. It was weird not to hear the Eden roar much, but I guess credit has to go to our boys for some of that!

I think Teach's summary is pretty spot on. Yep, we were a couple of players short last night & will be even more so again next week at the Unpreds but thankfully we have a large squad of players to call on unlike most teams. I don't think we can argue with the end result and the better side won on the night. At 4-1 down after the opening set and then 5-2 down - we nearly pulled out the draw. We had a sniff in a couple of frames but chances went begging. Likewise, we won a couple of frames off the back of mistakes

Ramsay and Nelio produced some solid performances for the Hounds, and I can see the Hounds staying up. Nobody is too good to go down in this league but the Hounds have that little bit more than a few of the other relegation sides.

The Patriots 5 Pond Q's 5 Another boring score draw. The Patriots will be far happier than us with the final score as they were 5-3 down at one time. I understand that it was quite an enjoyable evening . I was at home watching the mighty Arsenal destroy WBA. The Gunners got what they deserved. Unfortunately,we didn't !!

No problem for the lift home cheers Teach and ThePower

p.s dotcom grow the fuck up, it's only a game of pool. People plays pool just for a laugh and get a wee break from their wifes/girlfriend and have a pint or two and enjoy themselves...

Wifes/girlfriend plays bingo to get a wee break from their boyfriends/husband simple as that

I reckon that puts the Egos back on top by a point from the Pats and the Prop, with Hot Shots 3 behind those two. Plenty of twists and turns left in this twisty turny championship thing though.

It's certainly hotting up in Div 1, and as it is panning out at the top and bottom - both the title and the relegation will surely go to the wire.

All ready you find yourself looking at the last two or three fixtures. At the summit of Div 1, I believe its the first week the Prop have been replaced at the top of the table? 4 teams still have a chance with 10 games to go. Never had that scenario for years and years.

At the foot, the Legion had a disaster this week and look in real trouble and are now 9 points from safety, whilst the Slates needed to find a win desperately but a repeat of one win in their next 8 games or so won't keep them up. Pond and Hounds keep clawing out the results and the early season form from both these sides may have left them with too much to do? Jolly and now the Cuemasters have entered the relegation fringes. Jolly have not got themselves out of the bottom half all season and can't buy a league win at the moment.

Going to be a good couple of months pool in Div 1 thats for sure.

Underneath that pleasant exterior he is actually a complete barsteward, hence his very apt nickname, 'the shark'. He'd bite your legs off for a fiver.
