Just asking but aren't the venue adding into the prize fund. No obligation obviously! Just seems to be the norm when 32 people go somewhere. Or is this a non alcohol event??

To be honest with you Shaggy, this is a competition that I instigated and that I approached the Farley about. All I asked for was a comfortable venue and three excellent conditioned tables on free play for the day.

It may well be that if we can get the desired 32 runners, then the Farley can put some extra cash in to bump up the prize fund.

I'm just pleased that Croydon are having this tournament as there's not much else going on elsewhere anymore!!
