Surrey Classic 2012 (restricted to 64 players)
Sunday, January 29th 2012
Riley?s Croydon

The above competition will be run using a Champions League style format however if we do not get the full 64 runners, we reserve the right to change this to a Double Eliminator.

In summary
16 groups of 4 - everyone plays each other in a 3 frame match (all 3 frames to be played)
Top 2 from group progress to last 32
Bottom 2 are eligible to enter the plate
Last 32 is redrawn, Group winners to be drawn against Group Runners Up.
After the draw for the last 32 there will be no further draws and it will take the format of a straight k/o
Last 32 and last 16 we think at this stage will be best of 5

A Plate competition will be run for those players eliminated in the initial group stages - ?5 entry

Ladies and Junior events will start subject to table availability however registration will remain open until 1.30pm.

Rileys have the site up for sale. FACT!!

As to anything else, it depends on who you talk to though as to what the story is. Anything from being sold and closing in 2 weeks to being for sale only with the stipulation it ramins as a pool club with exisiting staff kept on.

So until there is anything OFFICIAL, Imperial Way will remain the home for County matches and Competitions.

We now have 64 players who have confirmed they wish to play in the Surrey Classic!! Thank you!!

All unpaid entries will be transferred to a reserve list so only payment will ensure your place in the Competition.

If we get 64 PAID entries, we will pre-draw the groups. If we do not, then highly likely this will be a Double Eliminator drawn on the day.

Any spots remaining where entry fee has not been recieved will be issued on a first come first served basis to those on the list of entrants on the morning of the Competition so please ensure you get you entry fees paid as soon as possible.

Please note that if you are not currently on the list, we will still accept you in the competition but you must pay your entry fee to secure your spot.
