Jolly 8-2 Hotshots

some great finishes from my team - deserved result

But . . not easy when your opponents are 2-0 down to start, so fair play to Ian C and team for making it closer than scores suggest

Will be sad if they are not about to play next year. Quality obvious!!

Regardless of inter-team bickering on this site or on match nights (and we are not perfect) there are some fantastic players and teams in the league, surely we all want to play these regularly and teams dropping out cannot be good. Some very close matches this season, showing, on their day, any team can win, or claw back a draw or, in our case, lose from 4-something up more than once. Granted, some very, very good players have changed teams for the summer, not all though.
If possible, players whose current teams are not going to be around next winter season should be encouraged to carry on, where possible

Pawleyne 4 - Unpreds 6

With the first set going to the unpreds 4-1, and our squad rotation policy in place as it has been all season, an absolute smashing loooked on the cards, but nonetheless a little bit of pride was restored with a second set victory for the Penge cueman.

We had several chances, but 6 was probably the least the Unpreds deserve.

Special mention to Francois 'One Shot' T,who called a foul on himself that nobody could possibly have seen.

Only a disaster agiainst the Prop or a complete flap fest wil stand in their way now.

Prop 7-3 Cuemasters

Slightly flattering scoreline, neither team played particularly well.

the prop 7-3 the cuemasters

good match but once again we failed to convert chances. you have to put in practice to get anything out of this game and unfortunately we only play a couple of frames a week at most and it shows. well done the prop tho.

We won 6-4 against the 193s... They deserved at least a draw but we finally got very lucky at the score level at 4-4 with Andy Telford going in off after potting the black against me...

The relgation battle is heating up with our good win last night over the hot shots brings the hot shots and surrey 193s into the picture. We need to win our next 3 games to stand a chance. Any predictions on who will make it? :gossip
