Bloodhounds 5 - 5 Forum 'A'
A really pleasing draw having been 5-2 down at one stage. We were a little disappointed to be 3-2 down at the half way stage following some horrible bad luck in frames 2 and 3.
But a draw was a fair result, as we continue to battle away with just five players each week. It was certainly an improvement on our 9-1 bashing at the Forum earlier in the season.
I'm sure Scott will be interested to hear that Baylis lost his first frame but Clarke won his.

Nice Scott will be gutted never mind Warbank had a convincing win,
winning 8-2 against the SAS good result considering that we were also 3-2 at the half way stage.
Nice Evening!

A lot of scruffy games, we had a chance to win the match but a draw was probably a fair result.
Good banter as usual with their non playing Captain. :winking:

Potterman,I do apologise for not answering your request earlier. I have been very busy working. I would like to take up your charitable offer. We will play your team for a total pot of ?1,000.(?500 per team). The winning team will decide which charity will receive the donation. Please let me know when your lot have saved up the ante and we'll get the show on !! I would anticipate a speedy reply given the aforesaid delay !! :bite:

Steve,I don't know what you find so funny ! I am deadly serious ! I'm waiting for the opposition to respond and the match can be arranged. Should we win,the money will be donated to Cancer Research. If they win, they'll probably send it to Battersea Dogs Home. We shall see !!

Steve, and we all thought you were laughing for another reason....
At:
Pat Flynn for being offered a money match and then doing what he does best. 1. Hiding behind his team mates. 2. Relying on his team mates to protect him and his lack of bottle to pick up a pool cue.
No nuts Pat. No nuts.

Alex, what on earth makes you think that I wont be playing ? You have an over-active almost child-like imagination ! I suggest it would be better employed in concentrating on your mobs feeble attempt to extricate themselves from the lower echelons of the league !! I really don't understand why you're reading a division 2 forum . Go away !!

Well done Alex at least one person got it,(TADPOLE'S brain is to small to).
Look TADPOLE get off your tale and pick up a cue a play a game and stop hiding behind your team, as before one on one ?50, loser pays to St Christopher's Hospice.

Potty-trained,how lovely to hear from you at last. You made an offer to play against me for the almost derisory amount of ?50 . I'm sure that such an insignificant sum would be meaningless to any charity. The offer to play for ?500 each still stands. If you would prefer the match to be you and me,then that's fine ! The winner can choose which charity will benefit from the ?1000 total. Now I would suggest that you either put up or shut up !! Quite a simple decision !

Or alternatively if the fact hiding behind your mates has just been blown wide open, then seek a Plan B.
Plan B:
Make the bet for charity. In doing that - WHEN you lose, one can then hide one's shame by saying at least it was all for a good cause....
Nuts Patrick. No nuts....

I thought Potterman originally said the bet should be for charity?
