Just wondering who (if anyone) is putting in late entries for the Winter League.

The Floozies will be sitting out the 2008/9 season unless a few more teams enter . . .

I would imagine that the teams that now run off 5/6/7 cannot possibly commit until they know the outcome of whether the 10 frames min 5 players, is being adopted at the AGM for the Winter.

No real point in teams paying ?160+ to then have to pull out with insufficeint players.

We've submitted to enter the Winter League. Forms got sent, i think it was sometime late last week by our secretary. Based on provisional status, we'll enter Division 4.

We're in that boat too to be honest Shaggy but if we don't get in it won't matter anyway!

We have entered the winter for 2008/09. We have a couple of ex Coney players joining us, so the Coney will not have a team. We'll be registering about 10 players at first and a couple of those have said they will miss a few games but will turn up as often as they can. We will definitely be ok if the summer format carries on but might struggle a bit to get 7 every week. We'll be playing out of The Elmer.

So what teams have dropped out of Div 1? Can't believe we finished 7th last season and have been shuffled up! (as of the 23rd Aug)

Hang on, does this mean The Rack Pack will stay in Division 1?
