Looks like we got the long straw then, drew some fifth division numpties, hidden pikey ginger chicken or something - never heard of them. Bring on the semis. :nerner:

They'll be no ginger chicken present I'm afraid . . Myself and the Skipper have come to an agreement by where I only play in the big games ;) :snigger:

That'll be the fifth division draws then, my missus plays in that one...
:bite:
No point in showing when the result is a foregone conclusion I suppose. That's okay we'll take it easy on the rest of your lot to help their confidence.

waddon wizards v pawleyne arms
a good defence so far from the defending champions and should have at least one more match as champions they will book there semi final place with a 6-3 win.
the cuemasters v the bloodhounds
one of our bogey teams of recent years! no idea if this is the same team who done so well last winter but if it is will be a close match. if we get off to a good start we should take the spoils.
the unpredictables v the prop
match of the round without a doubt! tough one to call and wont be suprised if it went to a decider. prop to edge it 6-5.
lock stock and empty barrels v crouching chicken pikeys.
this match will probably get the record for the the joint longest named teams to ever play each other in a match in the croydon league. unfortunatly the lock stock will indeed finish empty on the night. 6-2 to the pikeys.

The Waddon Wizards v Pawleyne Arms
If the likes of Shaggy, Spud and PeeHead turn up they'll be back in Costa del Penge before it gets dark! How the Wizards are still in the competition is anyone's guess but it's Good Night Nurse!
Wizards 0-6 Pawleyne
The Cue Masters v Bloodhounds
Two fairly evenly matches sides who can all perform on their day yet can be equally as rubbish . . Cue Masters to edge it!
Cue Masters 6-4 Bloodhounds
Rileys Unpredictables v The Propeller
Obviously the tie of the round bringing a repeat of the league fixture a couple of weeks ago that left Swetts with a nervous breakdown and and end time of 1:32pm on the Thursday! The Prop are much stronger throughout their squad and will prove too much for MOD's men who surely can't claim a league and cup double?! That said as it's an away match the Unpredictables do have the services of Luke Turnbull . . Oh hang on sorry ignore that :snigger:
Unpredictables 4-6 The Propeller
Crouching Chicken HP v Lock, Stock & 2EB's
With Wayne being deported back to Thailand, Grant being incapable of winning at #1, Kyle staying in to play with his iPhone and Katie fishing/doing a cable box/playing Xbox Live (delete as appropriate) there is no chance the Division Five team can progress . .
Crouching Chicken 3-6 Lock Stock

Think the Waddon Wizards with their home advantage on a tricky table is worth a few frames and I reckon they may give the holders a few problems. Pawleyne remain big favourites. 6-4 to the defending champs.
Bloodhounds from what I saw up at the Hot Shots recently are a team who on their night can upset anyone. Cuemasters at home may be enough though. Can see this going to the wire, 6-5 Cuemasters.
Unpreds to do the double? Unthinkable. Impossible. Prop to sneak through 6-4.
Lock Stock and the Pikeys. Depends if the Chicken Pikeys get out the big guns for this one. If so, a comfortable 6-3. But if not, Lock Stock to win a decider by 6-5.

Div 5 choppers 6-1 The Empty Barrels.........
Great game tonight with all the superstars of Div 5 showing their true class and out playing the lock stock fellas........and then shock of shocks Brian saying we slowed the game down, this coming from a man that when he played Kyle took over 5 minuets to call yellows after a dry break:lol:

Cue Masters 4 - 6 Bloodhounds
It was my first night as captain, we had a fantastic team spirit (managed to get five players together) and we matched the cue masters shot for shot!
It wasn't the greatest match you will ever see, but I believe a well deserved win. We were winning 4-1 and then 5-2, and although they started to mount a comeback, it just required our backsides to settle down.
Well done Will, who won twice on the night and pulled out a super match winning clearance.
Let's hope we can take this fighting spirit into the Winter season!!

yep no complaints from us. as tech said a poor match standard wise but absolutely no complaints about the score! really has been a crap season from us this year with no player really excelling above average at best. credit to the hounds tho they remain our bogey team and we wish them luck in the semis. ps BAN MOBILE PHONES.:swear:

I think the mobile phone complaint goes as follows:
I break off with us 4-2 ahead. The break is dry and the balls are well spread. David Rimer goes to the table and pots seven balls in about 20 seconds (The Rocket has a serious rival to his speed crown). He then lines up the black into the centre pocket (although I'm not sure he lines up any pot he goes for)
Then apparently a mobile phone goes off (one of their players I must add) and he jaws the black, leaving me to clear.
I do believe a phone went off at another crucial point as well, so if I have got this version totally wrong then I apologise!!

It was 'Duelling Banjos' from Deliverance and it was just as he was about to pull the cue back. No excuse for missing though.
