This Saturday see's the final of the Winter singles.

Danny 'Golden' Evans versus Mark 'The Thriller' Miller. Both players making their first ever final appearance and will no doubt be playing infront of a packed house. Both players attempting to add their name to what is a prestigious list of past champions...

Lets have some predictions....

I believe it is best of 7 frames.

Danny is favourite, I think even Miller would concede that much, but it counts for nothing in a final.

Miller is more than capable of causing an upset here. He has a great temprement and can pull out some sick finishes when the chips are down.
He also is the conquerer of none less than Rod Altes, who has made this comp his own in the last 10 years, both Summer and Winter, so confidence and belief will not be an issue.

If Danny can hit the peaks of his own game though, then I think he has too much for Mark.

I'm sure it will be a great match whatever the result.

This is a tough one to call. Both are very good players on their day and ive seen Mark perform extremely well under pressure in some important matches recently. I think Dan to just shade it though.

Does Danny need to secure the victory to also win the Ranking Trophy?

Evans in a canter 4-1
too much class for Mr Miller if over 7 or more but over shorter then it could be close

Its going to be 4-3.

But i'm sitting on the fence when it comes to who will win.

Not an easy one to call
