Scott Harrison 3 - Jim McCarthy 1
Some great pool played last night.
Frame 1 - Jim breaks and dishes
Frame 2 - I break and dish
Frame 3 - Tactical game. Finally Jim goes for the black to cut in the middle with a risk of the white going in the top corner. Fortunately for me it did.
Frame 4 - Another tactical frame i get 2 shot and clear my last 5 reds and the black.
Very good standard of pool last night from both of us. 4 games finished in half hour!

Very well played Scott. Sounds like you had the run of the ball. Unlucky Jim. I thought that you would win because of the similarities with your home table ! Never mind,There's always next time ! I wonder why the plate singles final wasn't played at the presentation evening. I'm sure that it'll prove far more exciting than Ginger and Pushy's match !! Only time will tell !!

Well done Scott . . Shame there wasn't any prize money as you could have bought Ian a new case with it :haha:

Cheers, Ian loves his case and would never change it! The craftmanship and quality of the plastic is top grade. Apparently it is a John Parris limited edition!

I reckon it has to be the best decision ever made since the croydon league was formed!
However, i dont mind it being scrapped and myself the undisputed champion of both the singles and the doubles  :one:
