Is this event still happening?
I don't fancy showing up to an empty club!
Regards,
Charlie.

Hopefully would be a good turn out, considering I'm guaranteed to win it and all. No point in winning something with only 3 faces showing up! Having said that, the less who show the better chance I have of a Saturday night out!

Is it true you said you were the best player in the room prior to leaving yesterday?

I was playing on the next table when this happened.....not only did the ship have 6 players present, but the Seamen did too...12 players from one pub of a divisional total of 29....
I will state facts here....Jamie, I'm not being narky, just that if the facts come out now, it will stop any other narky comments...it will all be on the table and there will be no further ammo to shoot you with....
The angry comment was followed with one of "i'll play anyone for money!!!" Considering we also had Rod Altes, Mark Miller, and one of the Popes watching the football, just as well it was a throwaway line.....
Another comment was "You didn't beat me, I beat myself!!!"...me thinks quite true, cos on paper I would have had you to win that match....calm down a bit, then other people can't get under your skin, and you won't be such an easy target....
All in all a great day....the time flew by really quickly....
Many thanks to Paul for organising, and to Hannah, Katie and Dan for their work too...
Well done to Andy Cas for winning too....there was a lot of quality in the field, and picking a winner was a tall order at the beginning....I will certainly be there for the next time this happens....
