Yes, the Warbank Saw Stars managed to scramble over the line at about 11 o'clock. Unfortunately we had to witness an episode of what can only be called gratuitous violence. I really don't know and don't care what it was about. Nothing justifies such behaviour. It has no place in our pool league. We were leading at the time and I feel certain that we would have prevailed at the end of the match. I think that everybody in our team was shocked and stunned by the fighting. I don't know if there might be any effect on future sponsorships with Frames. Unfortunately it is not the first time that something like this has happened. Rule 65 clearly lays down the sanctions and I personally would like to see them enforced as a matter of great urgency.

If an official complaint is made by either parties or a 3rd party then the matter will be dealt with by the committee. I do not take an opinion raised on this website as an official complaint. I did have discussions with the venues management last night and the matter was dealt with that both Frames and the CDPL were in agreement with

OO this incident had nothing to do with pool,
Someone done something to a child, which is uncalled for, and got what he deserved,......and He should stand up and say sorry, to him and everybody Else who had to witness that, which ruined a lot of pool on the night, case closed........

Hi Mark,
I detect a certain reluctance on your part to implement rule 65 to try to ensure that there is no repetition of such behaviour by the two perpetrators. Is there anything that is unclear in your mind ? You and several members of the committee were present at the venue. You personally discussed the matter with Frames management , and presumably agreed with their decision to eject one of our members and his son. What form must an official complaint take to expedite a satisfactory conclusion to this sordid episode ?

I was there, If I was Mark Harris I would have done the same thing.
Protect your kids everything else is secondary. All very well quoting rule 65 but I think mitigating circumstances have to bee considered.

You detect wrong Pat as their is no reluctance on my part or nothing unclear in my mind to do anything that I'm asked to look into .... Now if you want to make an official complaint about the incident that has effected you as a member of this league then do so otherwise leave the matter alone to be sorted out inhouse by the concerned parties.
