A fantastic start from us taking a 7 0 lead and cruising :clap:and to be fair our opponents did play well but didnt take their chances but they did take the next 2 and I thought the worse until we took the last 2 special mentions to Bernie 3/3 Leon 2/2,

On points, yes you're level but obviously Loyalists are still ahead as they're unbeaten and you're not.

Some quality pool played tonight from both teams with the Langley boys just edging it.

From our point of view slight inexperience with the rules and tactics costing some frames.
But we improve each week and will be a real force the longer the season goes on.

Mot's 5-6 One player short.

Good match and at 5-2 up we was well in control but credit to our opponents who dug in to reel off the last 4 to claim the spoils. Was nice to see a few old faces from what remains of the legion team!

oohhhhh......... mark :blah::bite::blah: we came up as champions of div3 in the winter which counts for more mate,and yes runners up in the summer,which you won last summer,you have the same team?, so miles & gary are not new signings then mark stop:bite: what have you achieved since then........NOTHING:haha: and yes we have signed a couple of players since and look what we have won division 2 my old mucker, so stop comparing mate, you got no ambitions only just to stay in the division and im not looking to do that I want more than that and that is the differnce:nerner:

Gary was with us last Summer. Yes, Steve's joined but we had to recruit as we were turning up with 4 quite a lot. I didn't have to buy him though. :haha:

As for what have I achieved.. Seeing as you're always giving yourself credit, I may as well do the same. I won the Winter Div.2 Secretary Trophy, which you had your eye on.

I must say I enjoy reading All these posts.

Especially Teams signing players that normally play or should play in the 1st division and then crow how wonderful the team is when competing in the 2nd Divison.

If you sign all these players you should be winning the 2nd division or gaining promotion So cant see why the sense of achievement thats displayed here. Personally I enjoy playing better players but feel it kind of devalues the Divison.

I know There is not much you can do to stop it and good luck to those that go that way. Still signing up a div one set of players to win div 2 and crowing how good you are I'd feel slightly embarrassed

Still these posts do make me laugh during my lunch :clapping:

Only getting a chance to post as have been @ Queens Club all day and Well as Neil has rightly pointed out they did indeed beat us 9-2 last night but we should have won a lot more, we have enough chances. We didn't take them and (eventually) the Farley did.

Unfortunately Neil claiming his team "cruised" to the first 7 frames is interesting cause I didn't see it that way, not sure the Dukes nor Folly did either :hand:

Beardy mate who you talking about when you say signing all division 1 players cause I have 3 of us still from when we started in div5 and gradually got a few more decent players but not div1 as we ain't been there yet until next winter:P
