Beechtree Boshers 4-7 MOTS

Poor defeat for us last night :| but we'll bounce back I'm sure. Missed too many pots, especially the black as we missed that particular ball in four different frames but that's the way it goes sometimes, and fair play to the MotS they took their chances when the opportunities came

Deans made a number of quality new signings there but as ever always a quality team and bunch to play against, and win or lose we always have a laugh. Good luck to the MOTs until we play you later in the season :handshake:

Well said Mark, always a good crack with the Dukes but we were very clinical with Billy and Barry both winning 2 out of 2 with great finishes, and with Ben finally :D: making his first league appearance and winning his frame we have a team that on paper will win this division.

enjoyable match as always against the boshers! i didnt stay long as had to get back to work but always a hard match against them. we had a bit of good fortune early on to take the opening few frames but will take 7-4 any day as its never an easy venue to get a win.

What exactly have you won in the Croydon, apart from being in a team that has been promoted to the first division, as I said it was the TEAM that got promotion not you!!!! Until you have done something significant in this league I would keep quiet :bite: It just shows that decent players want to play for the loyalists and not the legends, case in point (Billy and Barry). After 8 weeks of the Winter League the Prop were 8 points clear. Being ahead and winning it are two different things.

Not for one moment saying they wont win it, but I wouldn't be giving up, especially if they start talkin about the double and offering odds!

yep stil a long way to go n sum mite say we ava slightly weaker team but we aint got the eagles to contend with so bit less pressure on the prop n wev also won the summer league many times so again a bit less pressure...the Worse halfs r clear favourites for everything but they stil gota do it...we can only do wat we can do n hope our experience wil count for sumthin...think our ed to eds with the sum teams wil b crucial,lost 8.3 to egos 2nd half ov winter league season which basically sealed the league for them n woza bit ova shock after beating them twice up til that point...handling the PRESSURE tis wat its all about :angel:

Geez kellogs cum on think u lot finished bout 30 points or so behind the eagles so there defo ina different league to u lot....we av taken them apart more than once but wen they av the ability to get results week in week out then u av to b honest with urself n admit ur worlds apart...we ada massive winter league season n yet there relentless big scores overwhelmed us in the end...any1 can av big results but to do it week in week out n year in year out is tough m8 :angel:

Iv been a thorn in there side (not bein in there side) for many years so aint no licking goin on but u av2 acknowledged certain achievements ...it does not matter who's a gr8 player or who's a gr8 team its all about whether u can handle the pressure n get results....winning titles in div 1 year in year out is an achievement whether by team or individual efforts....u may ava decent side but uv stil got to win div1 titles to prove it :angel:

i think when you look at the eagles trophy haul and consistency over the last decade and beyond i thinks its pretty fair to say they are in a different league to everyone! and as jacko and kermy pointed out you need to win titles to prove it not just beat them in one off matches.

Lee, I think Teach will be most upset that he didn't get a mention as one of the Loyalist's quality new signings as did Billy & Barry.

I can see that you've all trapped the mighty Neil in the corner and he as very cleverly diverted the attention to div 1 and got you lot argueing whilst he disappears.

Facts are facts though, so the Loyalists will win the division, with the help of Teach of course and the Beechtree in 2nd spot.

Let's not start the betting on div 1 so early as we know what odds were given to those Better Halfs boys last season and what damage they can do.
And bytheway they've had 3 away matches on the trot and only 5 players on each occasion and are in 2nd spot and only 3 points behind the prop. Not bad hey and they've yet to go head to head with the Prop. Now that will be a match !

I agree with what Danny says about his team and the Eagles but why bring them into it when they are not playing this summer league.
And as I've always said, win or loose, they always win. A team of unity and gentlemen.
I guess the Better Halfs would have to take second spot on that count.

Teach won't be upset as he know's that Lee speaks about him in the same context as Billy & Barry along with Ben as well. Teach is a valued addition to the Loyalist family and a great team mate to play alongside week in and week out ........ a thorough gentlemen and it will be a great loss when he goes back to The Cuemaster Boys in the winter but nevertheless we trust he returns in the 2014 summer campaign.

Lol I have to laugh at your comment, I dont mean any disrespect to Teach or Ben, both have been valuable additions to an already strong team. Teach knows I want to keep for him for the Winter but I would respect his wishes if he wants to return to the Cuemasters. Yes we are the strongest team on paper in the division but we have to keep winning if we want to win Div 2. We now have a team that could compete in Div 1 and with Rainsy coming back in the Winter we will only get stronger. We also have a very good team spirit at the moment which is why we are unbeaten

Yes Neil is very good at diverting away from the facts but to be honest everyone knows he is full of hot air
