Penge Con Boys 7-4 The Lodgers
A result that makes me very, very, happy....on paper I thought the lodgers were the stronger team, but some battling performances, and a helping hand from Lady Luck saw us go 5-0 up....I think dreamland got to us because the supposed weaker players from the Lodgers showed the front 5 how to do it, and made the score respectable....Am I disappointed to only win 2 of the last 6? NO!!!...the Lodgers had the luxury of fielding 11 different players....most of mine are playing 2 every week.
Fully expect the Lodgers to be in the mix at the end of the season...unless I get at least 1 more quality signing, we probably won't, so I think we have upset the form book tonite....an enjoyable night, but I expect a much tougher time in the return....

Colby Conquerors 6 v 5 Another View
Very enjoyable night, 4-1 :surrender: down after the 1st half, great tuna sandwiches supplied by the new Gov of The Colby. 2nd half 5-1, than the fight back begain but I think we lost the match quit early on in the 2nd half, :wall: good result for the rest of our players to make a reasonalbe result.
The Colby table very good, no obsticals to get over, very straight, good night all round. :clap:
Good luck for the rest of the season. Look forward to the retun match at the view
