With the Farley Eden having no match tonight it seemed strange to see Alex Barnetson and another Farley Eden member in Thornton Heath tonight.
Rumours are now sweeping the high street that new signings are imninent. Strange for a team that is supposed to fold at the end of the season...

O.K. Think i have got enough info to sort out the rumours from the wind ups and red herrings so here goes...
Farley Eden will announce an in house transfer this week...!!!
Farley Eden will bring a ex Croydon player out of retirement...!!!
Farley Eden Will bring a ex Croydoc player out of retirement...

Please Alex tell me its not a Farley Duke... Just i saw Mark Bannister driving an armoured car down Thornton Heath High Street 10 minutes ago...

I predict Fieldsy and Frankoys to the Eden.

I've heard that Alex has approached Max Clifford, the well-known publicist, about joining the Eden. He wants some help in writing his memoirs after they've folded at the end of the season. What a potential story! Bitching,back-biting, stealing players from other unsuspecting teams, how to start an argument in a telephone-box, the quickest route between Southend and Thornton Heath. The list is endless.I've already booked a first edition !! Can't wait !!

Dave, come on now son, poaching is not my style - you know that.

After all it is the January transfer window, so in keeping with tradition we have naturally dipped into the market and yep there was an in-house transfer with Rab Harkness moving from the Dukes and signing up for the Eden. Many thanks to Mark Bannister.

As for the two others - its more a case of rebranding for one of them and someone we have wanted for a few seasons. In fact, pool politics prevented his arrival last season....

New rumours sweeping Thornton Heath High Street...

Farley Eden have a done deal in the transfer market... The Power is not answering text messages... We await your comments Alex...

I think any player that is ever 'available' automatically gets linked with a move to the Eden. If I am seen talking to players its construed as a 'tap up'. There is no secret we need players to survive, but it has to be the right player, who is going to fit in with a bunch of tits like us....At the moment I am keeping :mouthshut:
