The Folly 3 V 7 The Farley Loyalists

The Folly had a mare! They would have had a reason to moan if it had finished 5 all! Very unlucky on the night. Not taking anything away from our lads, when playing poorly its nice tro get some sort of result, ...and did we!! Great place The Folly, the food came out and had mushrooms in, which I have an allergy to, the landlord offered to go out back and make me sandwiches! I can see why Francois has chosen to have his birthday bash there on saturday, go along and get drunk!!

Dukes 7 - Jolly 3. Good night with the lads from the Jolly, 7-3 may be a bit harsh on the Jolly in a close match but we'll take the win gratefully. Special mention to yours truly for another 0/2 against the Jolly, managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory twice, and Dave the postie for two really good wins. Am now going to sign for the Jolly....:D:

The Waddon leapfrog into 3rd, and the Loyalists maintain their 7 point lead over the Dukes. Next week sees us make the lengthy trip across the floor of the Farley to play the Loyalists. With 5 games to go it represents our last realistic chance to try and make a fight of 1st, and only a win will do. For their part the Loyalists will want to avoid us doing the double over them, so lots of banter sounds like the order of the day. :nerner:
