Forum 'A' 5 - 5 Pond q's

Not sure what to say really. 4 1 down at the half way stage, I was thinking, maybe a 'landslide' here. But we thought hard and drew level at 4 a piece, v unlucky to the pond in a few frames, a missed black, after very gutsy clearance, under pressure, to then miss black : ( and black ball potted by them on our behalf isn't a nice way to win a game : ( Pool is a 'fickel' and 'funny game, and im sur ethere are a few other words that come to mind ; ) lol.' Never the less happy with the draw after being 4 - 1 down. Thanx very much to pat and the boys, very enjoyable evening, but im sure Pat hired a new, possibily 'Arsenal goalkeeper' for one of the corner pockets or as its sometimes known as 'you been supremed? ' Ball went in, flew up and out again haha! Sorz Bomber u didnt derserve that : (

Bloodhounds 7-3 Slates

Pleased to bounce back from last week's poor showing. This game was played in very good spirits (cough cough splutter splutter). I do try really hard you know!! :chair:

I have nothing to add to Teaserr07's brief description of the match except "We woz robbed !" Looking forward to the return trip when we shall be seeking redress !! Be warned !!

I also heard that the Hot Shots drew 5-5 with the Propeller . The Hot Shots were in a similar position to us at 4-1 after the first set. They too let the result slip away ! Great comeback from the Prop !!

Jolly 4 - 6 Patriots

Jolly have upped the ante in the food stakes, serving up chicken, mushroom and noodles. A bit too spicy for a certain person who sampled the tiniest noodle he could find and had to spit it out.
The food was worth reviewing, the pool wasn't.

indeed a great comeback ,the match showed why the two teams are were they are in the leauge 2 b and dishes and one 1st vist clearance and some very good play inbetween,at one point i was starting to think a 7 3 or even 8 2 was poss but the prop really did show some back bone,prop and hotshots 1 and 2 but what why round who knows????????????????

I admit, pool was very cruel towards ''The pond' last night and tey did desereve better. There is that old saying 'swings and round abouts' or 'you gotta take the rough with the smooth'

We didnt let our heads drop and took the frames, and yeah I will say fortunate in at least two frames! Pat im very suprised you allowed a 'spurs' fan to play for your boys lol haha, i actually like the fella, but we all have our faults lol ; )

Revenge is possibly, but on our table, it's any1's guess lol Bloody table!! Look forward to seeing you and the guys though, lots of respect, kept same team and prinicpal for many many years : ):clapping: Old school prinicipals come to mind : )

Upred's 6 - 4 Rack pack

Alot of missed chances by both sides would probably say a draw would of been a fair result, the win is best welcomed though.
