Rileys Unpredictable?s 5-5 The Warbank
We were 2-0 up and 3-2 up after the first set, 4-3 down and 5-4 up in the next.
Some great frames played tonight, with Andy Gray winning 2 out of 2, Barry Allen played a top draw red and sunk the black. Scott had a great clinical dish in the first set and was very unlucky in the last frame against Ian.
Always enjoyable evening of pool and always excellant banter with Mick and co!
All the best for the remainder of the season and look forward to the return match at ours!
Wooooooooooooooooooo!

Farley Eden 5-5 Imps.
I think it is fair to say a fair bit of luck on both sides was had especially in game nine when our player could do no wrong, fluke after fluke, until all the wheels fell off at the same time by potting their ball, going in off, opening their last ball and giving two shots. Our player lost, in case you had any doubt.
Cheers lads,
See you all at ours.

Forum 3 7 Cue Masters
Great result away from home. We were 6-0 up but Forum had chances in most of them.

forum A 3-7 Riley Cuemasters
a good match tonight with both sides playing some good pool throughout! looks a convincing scoreline but really could have been a lot closer with most of the frames being very open and attacking!. great result for us though as a lot of teams will struggle away against a very good team!
cheers lads!

Tricky Fixture away to the Knockout cup holders and I wouldn't have thought many teams would be 6-0 up against them with the likes of Herbert, Bayliss and Clark in the team. They did well to pull it back in at the end to make the night not a complete waste.
We have started very well with two wins but the next two fixtures are a completely different kettle of fish against the Propeller and Eagles. We will know more about our aspirations for the season after these fixtures but confidence is high so we will be fearing no one.
Shame about Pot Luck I would say there is going to be more to come on this subject by the end of the season. I would be amazed if they are hapyy to get beat 10-0 every week for 22 weeks in a row but lets hope so still early days.

They could have at best won 1 frame, but they did seem keen, turned up with about 8 players, and were under no illusions that this would be a long season for them. I honestly think they have no aspirations of winning many frames let alone matches, but from their attitude last night I think they will fulfill their fixtures.
I would suggest that teams in this Division have an obligation to try to help them along, by offering tips where possible, playing a few games after the match and being leniant when it comes to rules etc etc, especially early doors, and explaining the rules retrospectively. They are absolute beginners.

Eden 5-5 Imps
Again not the best of starts. 3-1 down, drew it back level and then promptly 5-3 down. Character to get the draw. No Lansing, Scotty Harkness or Rae. Good to see Tony Venus returning after a 3 year lay-off and taking 2 from 2 - no substitute for class. Arthur Hewson also back in Eden colours after 6 months in the wilderness. Just need to get everyone assembled and the results will come.

I thought that the Imps had lost 7-3 against the Patriots and then drawn 5-5 this week. Does that not make a grand total of 8 points??:?:
