View to A Kill 8 Farley B 2

Closer match than scoreline suggests, with 2 blacks left over pockets, a 6-4 loss would have been a bit fairer but never mind

The food was very good, I think there should be an award for the best venue in the league for food if there was, the View would be in contention for it!

Contention .... perhaps...... Now goto Wickham and try there fish and chips... or the william for there lasagna and chips.
Damn its a hard choice.

Touch Of Class 2 - Untouchables 8

Up and down first set, We went 1-0 down, Then 2-1 down and managed to get to 2-3 up.
Then a great fight by the lads to take the next five and hit yet again a high score against a very good TOC team.
And as last night purplespider didnt think he got enough credit i must say he done a very nice finish in his frame, And at a cruical stage also. Now that the bull-crap is out the way, Time to talk about me... And yet again a quality dish from a dry break if i do say so myself :judge:
Seriously tho, As always a great team performance and enjoyable evening.
Always a pleasure to see TOC team, And all best for rest of season.

Another solid performance by the TEAM. At 2-1 down Nelio n myself put in untouchable frames to set up the second set. I would like to 'thank' Alan for mentioning my frame in his post considering I actually broke dished (was a bit fortunate with position on black) n still got dropped:violin::wall:.
Not sure if that has ever happened to anyone b4?
I am starting a petition against captains who drop dishers, so if anyone would like to show their support please send messages to: howcanudropadisherandlookaturselfinthemirror@coldmail.com. Nuff said lol.

I've been saying for years that there should be a trophy for the food, a bit like the sportsmanship trophy.

Good effort by the view last night night, we definitely didn't have the run on what is a very unpredictable table. Good luck for the rest of the season :thumb:

View to A Kill (8) - Farley B (2)

It was a great night, the rest of the team played a blinder 'The Veiw', unfortunatly I had to settle for a second game win, after missing the black in the 1st.

As already suggested the scoreline does'nt do the game justice, most games could have gone either way.:violin:

Thanks to the Farley B a very enjoyable night and a bonus to have Arsenal win 2-0 even if they had a bit more luck. :o

I think it would need a renowned trencherman (gutbucket) to shuffle off this mortal coil and then a trophy could be named in his or her honour.

That's it!!!

Let's string Chuckie up and then we could name the trophy in his honour. He eats like a horse!

I can see it now. '...And the Charles Burrows award for consistently good food goes to...'

Or it could be named the Gary Swettenham trophy, he eats enough that his efforts should be acknowledged while he's still alive! Although the downside to this is that we won't get to kill Chaslington.
