eden a 7-3 maple tree

enjoyable match at the farley tonight apart from the result! all the frames were quite close and competitive but the eden boys run out the frames better tonight when it mattered although a couple of times we didnt quite get that little bit of luck that you need at crucial times in a close match
well done to the eden lads tho if they now go on to win the division as i think they now will they will be deserving winners!

thx shark, i think it was our best and most clinical performance of the season. We have been threatening that for a while now but just not managed to put a good front and back 5 frames together.

it was a very good match with 8 of 10 frames being dishes or good clearances, It reminded me of div 1 pool.....

we just need to keep our feet on the ground now and take it one game at a time

Seamen 6-4 Folly

An enjoyable night that gave us what we needed, if not what we wanted....although Andy Patrick agreed that we deserved to win, I felt the scoreline could have been more favourable (Lady Luck owes us big time from last week...lol), although I'm sure Andy will give examples the other way....

However, a win is a win, and I'm not complaining....especially as we won in the second 5 for the 1st time this season...

On a personal note, I do NOT enjoy being stopped by the Police whilst walking home, because they think my one piece cue in a black plastic case is an offensive weapon....:swear:

Thanks for an enjoyable evening guys!

With regards to the earlier posts i must firstly say what a superb bunch of lads the Maple Tree are fantastic to be around banter all the way and very good pool players.

Regards to the result i felt we did play some very good pool and the score may have been even bigger or closer but a very good team performance as sting said earlier easily our best performance from start to finish very high standard of pool from both sides and i wish the best of luck to the Maple tree for the remainder of the season. However i think we will take the title but as a wise man once said.

" One game at a time"

Steve Rae

As i am posting for the team however i must feel to add that barry went home extremely disappointed firstly he had not realized for about an hour and a half that he had a greasy sausage in his pocket put their by me despite him delving into his pockets on numerous occasions.

Secondly there was no response from the challenge he laid out to two Eden godfathers.

Sting Vs The Saxtonator

Money match very interesting more to follow. How tempting? A good debacle and spectacle no doubt.

Beachtree 4 - 6 Farley Loyalists

First up, cracking bunch the Loyalists, full of banter. Once again, unfortunately, at 4-2 up we couldn't find the two for the win or the one for the draw. :(

Fair play to the Loyalists a stirring fightback. Good luck for the rest of the season lads.

Flying machine 5 - 5 the dukes.

wasnt the most interesting match we've had.5-5 was a fair result. no one seemed bothered about the games, everyone was more interested in mark bannister dancing around to prodigy for half the night

great lads tho, really enjoy playin the dukes. will probably see you next season :)

It's official - Div 3 is the friendliest division in the league :hugs:

Statto - quite right. We were not quite up to scratch last night and the result was a true reflection of that. Interesting relegation battle looming me thinks.:|

Cheers for a good night lads.
