Well i was going to make this more interesting, But i have realised that 4 teams from division 5 will get promoted so its a good bet to say the top 4 at the moment will get promoted.
But none the less a few predictions over the next few days and an in sight to next winter.

Farley Untouchables :

Promoted for sure. I'd be very surprised if you don't get promoted from Div 4 next season. Excellent team atmosphere and Wonderful spirit for the game. Only down fall is how many bald tw@ts they have in the team.

The Oak :

My choice team to get 2nd place just pipping View A. Despite that the biggest game for the Oak will be to play View A away and that will be a test. I imagine a 4-6 victory to Oak or a 5-5 draw is likly on the night and slighty better averages will see Oak take 2nd place. I cant stress this enough if any of the Oak and/or View are reading this, Because Oak play View A and both Oak and View A play Pawsons and that is an average win of 6-4 to both Oak and View A, So therfor despite playing each other in 2 weeks it only means there are 2 games left of the season.
Next 4 games for Oak.....Earl of Eldon (Home), View A (AWAY), Pawsons (HOME 6-4 (BYE) AVERAGE WIN FOR THE OAK) and lastly Wickham (AWAY).
I like the oak as a team, they have good players and enjoy the game as well as having a good team spirit from what i've seen and i fully expect to see them in the top 4 in Division 4 next season.

View A :

My choice for 3rd place... strange why really because despite having 2 losses so far they are joint on points with The Oak whom only have 1 loss... Therfor telling you that on wins the View A are slightly better on average win (very slight tho).
Obviously i dont need to tell you that playing at home against The Oak is a must win game to get runners up.
Although i think View A can be more confident in these last 4 games then the Oak simply because View A entertain Ruskin House at home on the last game of the season. And for me this is a great chance for View A to get a massive win here and get the Oak biting those nails. So by me saying that why the heck am i saying View A will get 3rd ???? Well the answer is simply...... Suzy Floozies..Yes thats right...those lovly ladies are there to have there say and i can tell you this... they will have there say when View A visit them 2nd to last game of the season. And i could be wrong here but i think Floozies beat View A when they were unbeaten (there 2nd loss was against Untouchables) and that was at home.
last 4 games for View A.... Pawsons (AWAY WIN 4-6 (BYE) AVERAGE WIN FOR VIEW A) , The Oak (HOME), Suzy Floozies (AWAY) and lastly Ruskin House (HOME)
Good team the View A, they have a good team spirit and support each other well, and like the oak enjoy pool.

Young Guns :

What happend here guys ? This team elude's me. On paper challenging 1st with Untouchables, But in reality sitting 4th and most likly going to end up there. The only good news is that 4th place does get promoted, So no need to worry about that guys...but back to the issue at hand.
I've seen and heard first hand what the problems have been for Young Guns and a real shame that all this was dragged into there season where sorted out many games ago and they would have been in with a shout of challenging the league toppers. Still lets look at the bright side... you havent performed at full strength for some games and still find yourself being promoted at the end of season and not a million miles away from 2nd and 3rd.
So some pluses there.
Not the best team atmosphere this season nor good team spirit, but surly it can only get better ?
Best word to describe Young Guns. Arsenal
Last 4 games for Young Guns.... Untouchables (AWAY), View B (HOME), Wickham (HOME) and lastly.. Goat Specials (HOME)
Despite having 3 home games i still belive 4th place will be where Young Guns sit. 4 games left and 6 points between 4th and 2nd & 3rd. that means on average young guns will need to get atleast 2 frames more every week then view or oak (who ever scores higher that week).. A tall order considering i expect View A and Oak to have that one game in the last 4 where we see a 8-2 or 9-1 win.
The big games for Young Guns are when View A and Oak play each other and Young Guns will play View B at home when they do.. and that will be the chance to gain some points as i expect Oak or View will hit 6 points max, So if YG get a 9-1 that night then will be interesting..... But without doubt YG next game against Untouchables is cruical, Nothing less then a 6-4 or more win will do.

Suzy Floozies :

Well ladies, Im sure you all know what im going to say about you...
my 5th placed team, But need to be very carefull, as looking at the fixtures that last game against Pawsons can mess a very good end to a great 2nd half of the season. I'm unsure of your average but at a glance i'll assume you will hit a 5-5 draw at the end of the season. But not only that the Forum B are Breathing down your necks with only 2 points behind you and you still have to play them. So for pride alot to play for with 2 other teams.
Its a real shame Floozies took awhile to get going, Because it would have been a very interesting finish to the season as now with 4 teams going up, those Young Guns could be really sweating about now...But not to be, This year anyway.
I've said this before but now with 4 teams going out Div 5 i can see Floozies winning Div 5 next season, Despite Willam, Waddon Hounds and Small pots likly to be in Div 5 next season.
Great team atmosphere and togetherness, Shown also the desire to want to win games.
Last 4 games... Forum B (HOME), Earl Of Eldon (AWAY), View A (AWAY) and lastly Pawsons (AWAY) (AVERAGE SCORE 5-5)
Two important games highlight out of the last 4 games.. altho winning all 3 games is a must for pride to get 5th place. But i've stressed before View A vs Floozies and i stress again, This will be no easy game for either team, And Floozies have a real say if Oak will come runners up. But the most important game will be against Forum B, not only to win it because Forum are 2 points behind.. But also because Both Secretarys are joint on 13 wins 3 games behind the leader who has 16. so who ever looses will effectively be out to win it. But not just that will put that person 1 ahead to runner up also.

Goat Specials

Only seen this team once this season so dont know too much about them as yet.
Last 4 games... Ruskin House (HOME), Untouchables (HOME), View B (AWAY) and lastly Young Guns.

Well goat are 1 point ahead of Floozies and sit 5th, But 2 games against the top 4 will be a great test, Which i think the end result will leave Goat in 7th position. Reason being because of the slightly easier games Forum have over the Goat.
Goat are also 3 points ahead of Forum B.
Could well be one of the teams finishing 2nd - 5th next season (winter)

Forum B

Another team i've only met once but do remember this team pretty well, Or rather the Forum table. (the one near the bar as ive heard they have a few tables)
I do remember seeing a few good players in this team and as the league is now i think Forum to finish in the region of 5th - 7th will be a very good prediction, Altho im guessing they will finish 6th, But a good result against Floozies and we could be seeing a 5th place finish.
From what i remember at the Forum they had a good team atmosphere, But a little more toward beer.
Could well be one of the teams finishing 2nd - 4th next season (winter).
Last 4 games....Floozies (AWAY), Ruskin House (HOME), Untouchables (AWAY) and lastly View B (HOME)
Will be a good game against Floozies but again the Secretarys will be key.
I dont think Ruskin or View B will trouble these lads but the other 2 games are cruical to finish 5th or 6th.

Wickham

Going by the first half of the season, I'd say the team to make the most improvment would be Floozies, But these guys aren't far behind them. Could be that when i first played them they didnt have 1 or 2 players who were good for them a few weeks ago, but if they get those lads playing week in week out then i can see this surprise team challenging for anywhere from 2nd - 5th next winter.
Going on the first half of season it seemed a little flat when visiting the Wickham but when they came to us they seemed well up for it and played well. Could it be they are too relaxed at home ?
Either way the commitment was more evident when they visited us and if they keep that then i see good things for Wickham.
Better team atmosphere then in first half and good spirit, have that in full season and all good.
Last 4 games....... View B (AWAY), Pawsons (HOME, AVERAGE SCORE 6-4 LOSS ?), Young Guns (AWAY) and lastly Oak (HOME)
A tough finish to a tough season for Wickham im afraid... Playing View B should see them win and then rest the week after then 2 massive games.. but only massive for there oponents.. Sad to say but Young Guns and Oak will be wanting big wins and that will be a big test to the charactor of Wickham... Head high guys !

Earl Of Eldon

Another team i dont know much about and for some reason cant even remember seeing them first half of season.
So on that note cant comment really.
Last 4 games... Oak (AWAY), Floozies (HOME), Ruskin House (AWAY) and lastly Untouchables (HOME)
can only say i predict 3 losses to Eldon. Against Ruskin im sure they will win.

View B

Finding themselfs 2nd from bottom and only 1 win is not a good thing at all. But the View B i played just last week were a good team. 1 player stood out more but then 3 players were more then capable of pulling wins out in this league, Strange team, as the one i played I'd expect more wins. I can only assume that they dont go every week with there best players.
When they came to us in first half of season they seemed to have a good little spirit going and a little togetherness about them, But playing them at the View that didnt seem the same to me.
Could it be a curse that the table is lonely down stairs and during winter it is cold ? Could be the reason why some of there players were upstairs (not supporting team).
Either way nice bunch and i think keeping there stronger players on a weekly basis will see them do alot better next season for sure... One good player could be all that is missing for you guys to be top 4 next winter ?
Next 4 games.... Wickham (HOME), Young Guns (AWAY), Goat Specials (HOME) and lastly Forum B (AWAY)
Depending on the team that turns up for View B, I think you guys can get some good points here via 6-4 loss or a few 5-5 draws. You'll be the underdogs in all the remaining games but a good oppotunity to get some points if the right team turns up.

Ruskin House

Not the best team in the league but i dont think they care too much about that, they seem to enjoy tuesdays either way win or lose. The best thing is.... if you get bored at the Ruskin you can always go skating on the pool table..;)
Will finish bottom of league but could pip View B if View arent carefull.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its evident that the league is over in Div 5..I cant see Untouchables surrendering a 22 point gap with 4 games to go, considering they only play 1 of the top 4.
This could have been more interesting if only 3 teams were going up, As Young guns would have needed some good results, But hopefully Oak, View A and Young guns will still push on to get 2nd place... and im not sure who ever finishes 3rd and 4th will get a trophy ????
So league is wrapped up and so should i by going to bed.

Interesting read the comments about us. We only managed to get 4 players out and ended up with a 5-5 draw. All I managed to bring to the league game was my stinking cold so well done to the rest!! Somehow managed to win the secs game after a very tactical frame.
