Whoever wins the Knockout Cup this year, don't hold your breath that you will get your hands on the old tin pot.
I heard last night that the Patriots, our 2007/08 Champions, some 6 months on from the Winter Presentation Night, still have not been given the Cup. :(

Plate Semi-finals
Enmore 2-6 Bromley Cue Masters
A spirited display from the Enmore, but some bad luck meant they didn't get as many frames as they deserved.
Farley Loyalists 5-6 Elmer Cue Masters
Farley went 3-1 up, then 5-3 down, and fought back to a decider....a fantastic tactical battle towards the end which the Elmer ultimately won.

Well done to the Prop! We at least gave you a better game than our league game.
Perhaps should have been even closer, at 3-2 down we had two shots on the black in frames 6 and 7, and lost both!! OUCH!!
So with the Prop now 5-2 up, there was absolutely no pressure on Swetts as he pulled out a delightful double to finish perfect on the black! (It really was a great shot, mate!)
The Prop also had the luxury of putting out a top 5, without Swetts, Miller or Adams - not bad eh?
