Hi everyone

Some of you may have been unable to get to the site this morning, am not sure what caused the problem to suddenly occur but the redirection decided to stop working so any of you who accessed the site by going to www.croydonpool.com would have had an error message, but those of you who have the full link www.croydonpool.com/croydon/news.php in your favourites would not have had an issue

This afternoon the entire site was unavailable due to a new redirection setup by the hosts of the site being created incorrectly. This is now sorted.

Whilst I am here, just to let you know, the smileys will be making a return soon, I have now found out why they are not all showing, just need to sort it

Paul

Yeah that would make sense pressing F5 forced your computer to refresh the site

Please get the site sorted out asap Paul. It looks a complete mess at the moment and people are voicing that opinion pretty strongly and wanting change.

Can't people get off Paul's back for a once? That would be a welcome change. He's trying to sort out the many issues that have arisen and all people can do is give him abuse. Give him a break ffs!

I have spent a lot of time and effort on this website over the last few years and feel very strongly that hard work of Danny, myself and others should not go to waste.

If I have an opinion to voice I will voice it thank you. It is not abuse in the slightest - it is a statement of fact based on genuine concern as to what has gone on in the past few weeks.

I didn't say people couldn't have opinions. I merely pointed out that there's too much digging at Paul at the moment and it's not constructive. He's said his piece, so can poeple get on with posting the 'interesting and fun' posts that have apparently all been missing because of Paul. He's not going to delete them so let's get on with enjoying the site.
No-one wants to see it die so put some life back into it instead of just criticising. If it all falls on its backside it's because of users negativity, not the fault of the person trying to run the site.
