This is a message posted on behalf of Alex "ThePower" Barnetson regarding the loss of Peter "Pedro" Watts
"Sadly I have to tell you that Pedro passed away last week after a long battle with cancer.
Pedro played in the Croydon Pool League for 8 seasons with the Eden Cues but will mostly be remembered on the green baize but as the team's wingman at the bar! Also Pedro had a few summer seasons with Langley teams...
He was a fantastic bloke, great company, always had a story to tell and up to recently was coming down to Cheltenham races with the Eden lads. My Dad and Pedro kept on drinking together up at the Swan in West Wickham up until last month.
His funeral is tomorrow @ 10.30 - Beckenham Crematorium - sorry for terribly late notice....

The funeral is on Thursday 15th July
I had the fortune of having Pedro in my team at the Langley a few years ago. He was a pleasure to be around and was very very good at digging in and winning frames that no one would think possible to win. I agree with Alex, he will be missed
