This wont take place unless we get at least 12 runners so come on people.its inot as if we are having comps all the time.
I will be looking to have a croydon open probibly in january next year date to be confirmed once ive had a word with frames so watch this space.

Well oh well.what a wast of time and effert organising this comp.been told only 4 people turned up.
What a sad state of affers when people cant be bothered to turn up.(not impressed)
Im thinking of organising a croydon open down at frames in either feb or march.date to be confirmed.so those people who couldnt be bothered yesterday please please stay nice and warm in your beds caus you wouldnt have won anyway.

Good bit of advertising there chris ,telling people not to come to the next 1 n they wouldn't of won anyway,did you use to work for Woolworths or Allders ,think what maybe your not realising is there is not enough communication ,i doubt many people visit this site regularly n people have byes or play away in quiet venues so there's completely no talk of a competition so nobody knows,my advise is to text all team secretarys on the tuesday before or even the guys who may be interested just to remind them,even start a new thread on here so the reminder is visible in bold letters,much more reminding is needed nearer the time as peoples lives won't revolve around a small pool comp n people will simply forget as me n the German did,maybe others may have seen how pony the weather was n thought fck that,not me i was in my nice warm bed n wouldn't of won anyway so went n played golf in the afternoon against myself because i knew i might win....so so rude from a nobody

Chris knows about Croydon Singles League.
Unfortunately, he also knows about not turning up.
He played in CSL for a few seasons. Then, in season 9 he lost his first 4 matches then failed to turn up for the rest of the season (due to playing in another league apparently), earning himself a ban. |
