This Thursday, 22nd October is the famous end of season....

RILEYS CRAZY BINGO BALL REDRAWN SCOTCH DOUBLES KNOCKOUT COMPETITION!

It's open to all CSL players, past and present, it's free to enter and there's still money to be won as well as one of the largest, most expensive trophies ever seen!
(Disclaimer: the size and cost of the trophy have been ridiculously exaggerated)

The first round draw will be made at 8.15pm on the night, so please let me know if you'll be there any later than that so I can include you in the draw.

There were 12 entries to the comp last night, so here are the results:

Round 1
Paul Saxton & Gary Stephen 1 – Paula Thompson & Peter Phillips 2
Brian Gray & Jon Pea******* – BYE
Heather Bowen & Alan Comber 0 – Jim Curtis & Mark Stallard 2
Luke Thompson & Jason Cook - BYE

Semi Finals (Losing semi-finalists win £5 each)
Jason & Jim 2 – Peter & Luke 1
Paula & Brian 2 – Mark & Jon 1

Final
Jason & Paula 0 (Runners Up win £15 each)
Jim & Brian 2 (Winners take £25 each, plus gigantic, expensive trophies, almost large enough to eat a boiled quail's egg from)

So that concludes season 15 of Croydon Singles League. I’m aiming to restart around December but, as always I need to know, from everyone who hasn’t yet confirmed either way, who is re-entering and who isn’t so I can get the full list of runners sorted as soon as possible and allow plenty of time for people to pay in advance of the season start date.
